These classes are currently running:

SUNDAY
GENTLE AWAKENING YOGA FOR ALL
10:00-11:15 am with Linda Kish

This gentle awakening class includes yoga basics and seasonal poses. You will come away with knowledge of how we connect yogi breath with gentle yoga postures. We will be using belts and blocks to assist with correct alignment of the poses. For all levels.

MONDAY       NEW!     (Not Offered Virtually)
YOGA WITH WEIGHTS TO SUPPORT BONE HEALTH
4 Week Series – 9/16, 9/23, 9/30 & 10/7 – $60.
6:15-7:15 pm with Linda Kish

The sequence will consist of several basic yoga postures on and off the mat using light weights (no more than 5lbs).  Intermittent transitional stretches will also be included.  The studio has mats, blocks and belts to borrow but students will have to provide their own weights.

TUESDAY
GENTLE YOGA TO PROMOTE IMPROVED SLEEP & REDUCE INFLAMMATION
6:15-7:30 pm with Linda Kish

A mat-based practice that will incorporate elements of Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga.  A recently funded NIH Study demonstrated that a 75 Minute gentle yoga practice 2x per week resulted in “reduced body inflammation and improved sleep” in just 4 weeks, for all male and female participants.  Come join us, no experience necessary, as this is also a great intro to yoga for anyone new to yoga.  We have yoga mats, blocks & belts to borrow if needed.  Please bring a large towel or blanket.

TUESDAY
TEEN/ADULT BALLET
7:45-8:45 pm with Aine McAleer (starts September 10)

This is a beginner/intermediate ballet class that works with each students’ abilities and levels.  Classic barre, center floor and travelling exercises make this class a great workout while gaining grace, stretch, balance and muscle tone.  Must wear ballet shoes and fitted clothes like leotard and tights or yoga pants. A great class for those that danced in their youth!

WEDNESDAY
YOGA FOR BONE HEALTH
6:00-7:15 pm with Linda Kish

In this class you will learn the 12 yoga postures that support bone health. We will follow the sequence that researchers at Columbia, NYU, Rockefeller University and Brigham & Women’s University used for their 10-year-long study. The study results proved that this yoga practice supports bone health. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required.
